Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®

A Jin Shin Do® session lasts about 75-90 minutes and is done while the client lies comfortably and fully clothed on a massage table.  Assessments are made by checking the client's pulses and areas of sensitivity on their body.  During the session various points on the body are stimulated by gentle finger pressure to relieve tension that tends to concentrate around these acupressure points and form blockages.  As a point is held, the muscle tension relaxes enabling blood to flow freely, and toxins to be released and eliminated.  Increased circulation also brings more oxygen and other nutrients to any affected areas.  This can increase the body's resistance to illness and create a greater sense of harmony, health, and well-being.
